The printing of the thesis easy and fast
It will seem incredible to you but the online print of your handmade and completely sustainable thesis is also quick and easy.
1. Choose from our exclusive covers
For the cover of your thesis you are spoiled for choice, but only between ecological, FSC certified or recycled materials.
Don’t ask us for the classic leatherette cover, we don’t make it.

2. Select the spine binding
Decide whether you prefer the binding with the black velvet spine or a paper canvas spine that wraps around the cover (the velvet on the front cannot be seen, the cloth covers the cover on the left side by about 25 mm).
However, both allow the thesis to open perfectly flat.
3. Which shade of paper do you prefer?
The weight of the paper is not in question, we have chosen 120 gsm, your thesis deserves no less.
We leave you the choice between white paper, a warm ivory tone or 100% recycled (white only) which has an additional cost of 10%.
4. Do you print single sided or double sided?
If you choose single-sided printing you will obviously have all the pages printed on the right and no precautions for page numbering to consider.
However, if your thesis has many pages and you want to save paper, you will need a front and back print.
At this point your thesis will be like a real book with page numbers and maybe chapters starting on the right.
Consider that the odd pages of the PDF (which may not coincide with the numbering you gave) will be printed on the right and the even ones on the left.

5. count black and white and color pages
It seems like an unnecessary hassle, but automatic inspection systems often detect many more color pages than you need. This depends on the way they were generated, perhaps in RGB. Furthermore, there may be pages, such as those in the bibliography, which have the URLs of the sites in color but which can easily be printed in b/w.
Then, open the PDF (so you also check the images and the beginnings of the chapters) and count how many pages there are to print. We don’t need you to indicate exactly which ones, the overall is enough.
5. decide how you want the cover
If you want the cover of your thesis exactly like the title page, just tick the box. If you want a different cover instead you can upload the file.
The engraving of the cover will faithfully respect your layout but the size of the texts may vary slightly.
To obtain the best result and maximum possible visibility, especially on wood, we may slightly enlarge the texts.
We ask you to add your logo because sometimes the file has a better resolution than the one included in the cover. It’s not mandatory though, our logo library is very well stocked.
